1. Coaching for Educators and Families With IMPACT
On Menu Allied Health Stream
Side-by-side coaching by a psychologist or allied-health practitioner to build safe and nurturing care, and respond to children’s developmental, attachment, trauma, neurodiversity and wellbeing needs.
What We Offer?
LBI Foundation provides tailored clinical coaching to build safe and nurturing Early Learning Centres, and strengthen the delivery trauma-responsive, child-centred and inclusive practice.
The intent of each 90–120 minute coaching session is co-designed with your leadership team and delivered by an experienced psychologist, social worker or allied-health practitioner. Coaching is tailored to the unique needs, priorities and context of your service. We draw upon an evidence-based coaching model (click here).
Grounded in Evidence
Our coaching draws on the evidence-based IMPACT Program, translating the science of:
- Trauma.
- Attachment.
- Neurodiversity.
- Neurobiology.
- Child development.
- Wellbeing and growth.
into practical strategies that educators and families can immediately apply in everyday practice.
Tailored to Your Service
Coaching can focus on one or more areas, including:
- Professional development for educators, families and leaders.
- Supporting individual children or groups of children with complex needs.
- Building whole-of-service trauma-responsive, neuro-affirming and wellbeing-informed practice.
- Strengthening inclusive practice and implementation across the entire site.

What Can You Expect?
Each session combines (1) practical learning, (2) reflective discussion, (3) collaborative problem-solving and (4) evidence-informed strategies and tools.
Sessions can be delivered as a stand-alone service or scaffolded over time to build sustainable capability and long-term practice change, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and AEDC domains.
Outcomes
Outcomes are co-designed with the Early Learning Centre leadership team. They can be focused on child, relational and system levels, and include:
Child
- Children experience a safe and nurturing environment, have their needs met and grow their capacity to safely express their feelings/needs, and cope with change.
Building Educator and Family Capability (Relational)
- Understand the drivers behind children’s behaviour and underlying needs.
- Respond intentionally rather than reactively.
- Strengthen safe-base, side-by-side relationships.
- Build children’s self-regulation through co-regulation.
- Coach emotional awareness, emotional regulation and self-soothing skills.
- Increase confidence in supporting children with diverse and complex needs.
System
- Work together in shared intent around a consistent, trauma-responsive, neuro-affirming and wellbeing-focused culture.
2. The IMPACT Program

IMPACT is a flexible capacity building program that offers the the shared knowledge, tools and practices to build a trauma-responsive, neuro-affirming and wellbeing-focused early learning centre.
What We Offer?
The IMPACT Program is LBI Foundation’s evidence-based framework to build safe and nurturing Early Learning Centres, where children have their needs met. It enables the embedding of trauma-responsive, child-centred, neuro-affirming and inclusive practices.
Grounded in the latest science of trauma, attachment, neurodiversity, neurobiology, wellbeing and human growth, IMPACT translates research into practical strategies that strengthen outcomes for children, educators, families and Early Learning Centres.
Building Capacity Across Your Service
IMPACT builds sustainable capability across three interconnected areas:
- Children’s social and emotional learning (SEL).
- Responsive, relationship-centred educator practice.
- A whole-of-service culture that strengthens wellbeing, inclusion, family partnerships and trauma-responsive practice.
Every partnership is co-designed with service leaders to align with the unique strengths, priorities and aspirations of the Early Learning Centre, its educators, children and families.
A Flexible Capacity-Building Journey
Services can access a tailored combination of:
- Accredited professional learning and workshops.
- Specialist coaching, workshops and consultation.
- Local implementation and embedding strategies.
- AI-powered learning and implementation tools.
- Accreditation of local IMPACT Coaches (service champions).
- Train-the-Trainer pathways that build sustainable internal capability.
Implementation is delivered through LBI’s flexible four-step service model, enabling Early Learning Centres to engage at the level that best matches their readiness, resources and goals
Outcomes
Outcomes are co-designed with the Early Learning Centre leadership team. IMPACT builds the shared (1) language, (2) knowledge, (3) skills and (4) methods to deliver sustainable outcomes for children, educators, families and the entire centre.
Services implementing the IMPACT Program can expect:
- Children experience a safe and nurturing environment, have their needs met and grow their capacity to safely express their feelings/needs, and cope with change.
- Increased capacity and confidence to support children with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- A sustainable culture of shared knowledge, practical tools and consistent ways of working.
